Easy tuna pesto pasta

Basil  Spinach Walnuts Parmesan cheese Lemon juice Garlic Olive oil Canola oil  Salt Cherry tomatoes Pasta (gluten free if you like) Canned tuna  Lemon zest

Boil the pasta according to package directions. I use gluten free Penne.

Drain the pasta in a colander. No need to rinse!

Blend all the pesto ingredients until smooth.

Flake the canned tuna in a large bowl with a fork.

recipe tip

You can prepare the pesto in advance and add it to the pasta the next day! 

Add the cooked pasta, tomatoes and pesto to the tuna bowl and mix together.
