Gluten free  maple pecan pie

1 gluten free pie dough Eggs Granulated sugar Maple syrup Vegan butter Salt Vanilla Extract Chopped and halved pecans

Press pie crust into a pan and poke with a fork.

Partially bake the pie crust until lightly browned.

To make the pecan pie filling: In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, sugar, maple syrup, salt and vanilla extract.

Whisk in the melted butter.

Mix the chopped pecans into the batter.

Pour the pecan pie filling into the partially baked pie crust. 

Bake in the center rack of the oven for 30-35 minutes until the filling is puffed and no longer jiggly.

Allow the pie to cool for at least 1 hour, or in the fridge overnight for easy slicing.

Pie is all ready!
