Gluten free pink sauce pasta

Olive oil Onion Garlic Salt Red pepper flakes Tomato paste Dry white wine Crushed tomatoes Coconut milk or heavy cream Fried oregano Fresh basil Honey Unsalted butter  Penne pasta, gluten free

Boil the gluten free asta according to package directions. I use gluten free Jovial brand of Penne.

Drain the pasta in a colander. No need to rinse!

In a large skillet, sauté the onion in olive oil with salt.

Add garlic, red pepper flakes and tomato paste to the pan.

Add dry white wine and simmer.

Mix in the tomato puree, coconut milk/cream, salt, oregano, basil and honey.

Simmer sauce for 25 minutes, then blend together!

Mix butter or vegan butter into the sauce.

Add pasta to the sauce and mix together!
